Guest tickets are required for entry to the bachelor's ceremony. The Ph.D. and Institute Master's Ceremonies do not require guest tickets for entry. More details regarding tickets for each college master's ceremony are listed below.
Guest Tickets and Seating
- Seating for all ceremonies is general admission.
- Seating maps will be posted here two weeks before the ceremony.
- Bachelor's graduates who submitted an RSVP by the Nov. 1 deadline will receive four guest tickets. Late RSVPs may result in fewer tickets.
- Tickets are ceremony-specific and not interchangeable.
- Children under the age of two, who will be seated on a lap, do not require a ticket.
- For those needing to accommodate more guests, the On-Campus Watch Party, located next to McCamish Pavilion offers an alternative viewing option.

Student Access and Seating
- All graduates must enter through Zelnak, wearing their Georgia Tech regalia and present their GradPass for entry. For more information: What to do and where to go on Commencement Day.
- Bachelor's and master's students are seated by college and Ph.D. students by degree level.
- Student seating is on a first-come basis and is not in alphabetical order.
- Order of procession follows seating arrangement.
Guest Ticket and GradPass Distribution
Grad Passes
- Graduates who submitted their RSVP by Nov. 1 will receive guest tickets and a GradPass, which is required for stage access.
- A GradPass is a QR code which will announce the graduate's name as they walk across the stage.
- GradPasses will be available in students' MarchingOrder accounts on Monday, Nov. 25. We recommend taking a screen shot or printing a copy.
Ticket Distribution
- Starting Nov. 25, guest tickets will be distributed via email to students, with the subject line, "Your Georgia Tech Mobile Tickets have arrived!"
International students who are unable to access their reserved tickets through the website may pickup tickets at Will Call at McCamish Pavilion Main Entrance before the beginning of their assigned ceremony.
ADA Seating
- Wheelchair seating is assigned based on the graduate's indication of need on their RSVP form.
- Additional seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis for guests with limited mobility.
