RSVP for Spring 2023 Commencement Is Closed

An RSVP is required to participate in Commencement ceremonies. The RSVP deadline for Spring 2023 was March 27. If you did not RSVP to Commencement but are a Spring 2023 petitioned graduate still interested in attending, please arrive at the student entry gate on ceremony day 30 minutes prior to ceremony start time. Check in with our troubleshooting table, where you will be given a Grad Pass. Regalia is required.

Your GradPass is your virtual name card to have your name called and displayed. View instructions below on how to download.

Download Your GradPass Namecard

Name cards, also known as your GradPass, will be accessed via each graduate's mobile device. This is what graduates will need to have on their phone or printed when they enter the stadium on ceremony day for their name to be properly displayed and announced as they walk across the stage.

If your name did not appear on your GradPass when accessed on April 19, please log into Marching Order again and redownload it.

Students can access their GradPass by logging into their Marching Order account they created when they submitted their RSVP and selecting "GradPass." Students can print at home or take a screenshot of the QR code to avoid loading it at the ceremony.

If you are unable to access your GradPass, please contact the Commencement Office. If we have emailed your GradPass to you, please check your spam folder for the email. There will be a troubleshooting table set up at Commencement to help with GradPass issues that you will need to go to if you arrive without your GradPass. A GradPass is not a ticket for guests; no ticket is required for entry.

Students will walk on stage to receive their faux diploma from the president. Each attending student will have their individual name called and displayed on the jumbotron as they walk across the stage.

Students will then take a photo with the Ramblin' Wreck before returning to their seat.

  • Tickets are not required. This is a general admission event.
  • Bachelors and masters will be seated by college on the field. Ph.D. students will be grouped by degree level.
