Commencement

All graduates must RSVP** to participate in the ceremony. The Fall 2025 RSVP period closed on Friday, October 31.

**The Commencement Office is unable to confirm individual RSVPs. Please check your email for a confirmation message from Tassel when you completed your RSVP. 

A Stage Pass is required for a graduate to participate in Commencement and have their name called as their cross the stage.

If you cannot access your Stage Pass or have any errors on your pass, report to the troubleshooting table at your Commencement ceremony for assistance. Troubleshooting will be located at the student entrance for your ceremony.

Early and late walks are granted on a case-by-case basis as space allows. Students must apply by the current semester's withdrawal deadline. Applications for Fall 2025 ceremonies closed on October 25.  Applications for the Spring 2026 ceremony will open in late January.  View the policy.
 

Beginning in Fall 2026, students will no longer be able to request to walk one semester early. Late walks will be reserved for unforeseen hardship situations that prevent the graduate from attending the ceremony.  View the policy.
