Commencement Updates

Georgia Tech is planning to host fall Commencement ceremonies December 11 and 12, 2020. Spring, summer, and fall graduates will be invited to participate. We believe Bobby Dodd Stadium will be the best venue for the event based on guidance from the Governor’s Covid-19 Task Force, the Georgia Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that encourages outdoor spaces for larger events like Commencement. It will allow for appropriate physical distancing — and one of the best views of the city from campus.

Dates, times, and ticket allotments for the Fall 2020 ceremony will be published the week of September 7. All information will be posted at and emailed to students who register an email address with the Commencement Office.
