Late Walk Participation Request

Late walks are granted on a case-by-case basis when a hardship prevents a student from attending their graduating semester as space allows in our venue. We are currently only accepting late walk requests from those who graduated Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.

Late Walk Policy

To be considered, students must complete this form by the withdrawal deadline of the semester they wish to participate. The request deadline for Fall 2026 is October 30. Students will be notified of their final decision by Friday, November 6.

We are only accepting applications for Fall 2026 at this time (those who wish to apply for late walk in Spring 2027 will fill out the form in January 2027).

Ceremony participation is not guaranteed. 

Approved late walks should expect the following changes:

• Late walks will receive the same ticket allotment as current semester graduates.
• Late walks will not be listed in the Commencement program. All students are listed in their graduating semester's program.
• Late walks will not receive honor cords.
• All students will have their name called and displayed as they walk across stage.
